REGISTRATION at Prospector: August 7th – 10th (Wed – Sat)
PROSPECTOR REGISTRATION HOURS:
Weekdays: 10am to 10pm
Sat, Aug 10th, 6:30am to Noon
PROSPECTOR SHOPPING HOURS:
Weekdays: 8am to 10pm
Sat: 6:30am to 10pm
Sun: 10am to 6pm
Shop Prospector with your dog tag, get 20% off (excluding bikes, guns, ammo, electronics)
REGISTRATION:
Registration is $30 + Silver Salmon Derby Ticket (daily or season).
DOOR PRIZES:
10 Women who register will be chosen at random to win Door Prize Packets, each with more than $100 in certificates.
Valdez Fish Derbies will post winners on our website, Saturday, Aug 10th at 8pm
TOP 3 WINNER PRIZES:
$1000 CASH plus Prospector Prizes (value $1000)
$500 CASH plus Prospector Prizes (value $500)
$300 CASH plus Prospector Prizes (value $300)
PRIZES will be available for pick up at weigh-in station Sunday, Aug 11th, 9am to 8pm
WOMEN’S DERBY WEIGH-IN HOURS
Aug 10th: 9AM to 6PM
Leaders will be posted on whiteboards at weigh-in station and by Harbormaster’s OFFICE.

Valdez Fish Derbies is hosting Carnival Games & Treasure Hunt for 2024 that will have ladies of the Valdez Silver Salmon Sisterhood:
1. Completing a Treasure Hunt Friday night 7pm to 9pm for a chance to win prizes (Get Treasure Hunt list 7pm to 8pm Friday at weigh-in, due 9pm Friday)
2. Stopping by Weigh-In Shack Friday Night 7pm to 9pm to take picture with big halibut sign and entering Group Costume Contest
3. Getting spotted by the Valdez Fish Derbies Prize Crew as they troll through town Friday 7pm to 9pm
4. Look for Dog Tag Numbers Friday 7pm to 9pm at participating businesses for a chance to WIN Instantly (dog tag #’s will be up at participating locations through Sunday)
Winners will be posted on whiteboards and the top 3 winners will be posted on our website shortly after regular derby weigh-in closes at 8pm.
